NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION
In accordance with UCA 10-3-301, notice is hereby given that the following elected City positions are to be voted upon in the Tropic Town 2021 Municipal Election:
Mayor * 4-year term ~ 2 Council Member * 4-year term ~ 1 Council Member * 2-year term
Any eligible resident wishing to become a candidate for any of the listed offices must file a Declaration of Candidacy form with the Town Clerk/Recorder during the candidate filing period, June 1- June 7, 2021. The Tropic Town office is located at 20 North Main Street, Tropic Utah. The office of the Town Clerk will be open Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for the purpose of Candidate Declaration. The deadline to submit Declaration of Candidacy forms is no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 7, 2021.

*US Citizen
*Registered Voter of Tropic Town Municipality
*A resident of Tropic Town for a period of 12 consecutive months
*Not a Convicted felon, unless right to vote has been restored

According to State Code: 10-3-2 subsection 208 ~ If a candidate fails to file a campaign finance statement before the Municipal Primary Election deadline ~ August 3, 2021 ~ Municipal General Election ~ October 26, 2021
Candidate will be disqualified for not submitting statements
