Tropic Fire Department is the main fire fighting response for the Bryce Valley area, which include the towns of Tropic, Cannonville, and Henrieville; they also respond to Bryce Canyon City and Bryce Canyon National Park when needed.TFD provides motor vehicle accident and extrication service along State Hwy 63, Hwy 22 and Scenic Byway 12. These routes are traveled by thousands of visitors annually as they travel throughout Garfield County.

Local Burn Restrictions ~ Burning of vegetation on personal property is allowed until June 1 ~ To avoid false fire reports, please notify the Garfield County Sheriff's Office of your activity of a controlled burn.
